Loving the new app
This app really has some potential, but somethings really make it fall short. Firstly, the resources uploaded by lecturers arent sorted into topic folders like they should be for the courses, which makes it difficult to find certain things even with the search function as names might be obscure, and it isnt evident which resources belong together under the same topic. Secondly (the biggest problem), when you do find the resource youre looking for, and open it and want to share it to another app for annotation such as Evernote or GoodNotes or Penultimate, the prompt appears and you can save it with a title, but when you want to check it in the app the document or presentation isnt saved under the title given. Thirdly, there is no app for iPad, which to be honest would have been better platform to release the pilot on as that is where most students would annotate and read slides or documents. Otherwise, the speed of the app, the lack of crashing and the fact that the submenus for courses are listed under the correct headings are so far better than its predecessor. Fix the sharing issue and the others can be dealt with.
Great start, good layout, but a couple of changes greatly needed. Firstly, you need an iPad version. Secondly you need topic folders, like on Vula. For example, when you open resources, there needs to be a sub section of lectures, tests etc... Last but definitely not least, you should be able to export files to other apps easily, at the moment you are required to open files in safari, then export them in to apps such as Evernote and Notability, which just isnt convenient. Keep at it guys!
Significantly better than the Vula app! My main request: you cannot zoom in on documents that you open up in the app. Please enable this?
